64th Indiana Regiment
in the American Civil War

Regimental History
Sixty-fourth Indiana Regiment. — This was intended to be an artillery organization, composed of light batteries, twelve in number, but the war department declined to accept consolidated batteries and this prevented the completion of the regimental organization.
